Ann Marshall Robbeloth, JD, MSW, has been working in the fields of IP, Conservatorship and Elder Law since 1997. She enjoys connecting clients with needed resources and engaging other members of a client’s professional team.

She utilizes family meetings to support families in making informed decisions regarding tax planning, incapacity, special needs and elder care. Part of Ann’s practice involves working with families and individuals to create a care plan during serious illness. She also provides guidance regarding inheritance decisions and tax planning after the loss of a loved one. Whether assisting parents to plan for the needs of their children, working through options to support a favorite charity, or dealing with life transitions, Ann is willing to listen, explain, and support clients through the process.

Ann graduated from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science and Psychology. She graduated from Tulane University with a Juris Doctor, as well as a Master of Social Work. While at Tulane University, Ann represented juvenile delinquents with the Tulane Juvenile Law Clinic. She also supported the New Orleans Pro Bono Project by grant-writing and receiving funding for a multi-disciplinary training program for attorneys and social workers in the Orleans Parish Family Law Court. She clerked for Judge Leonard Edwards of the Santa Clara County Dependency Court. Ann works in various capacities to bridge the gap between the legal and social services available in our communities.

Ann is a frequent speaker at Bay Area events regarding Estate and Wealth Planning, Planning for Special Needs Families, Conservatorship, and Elder Law. Recently, Ann has coordinated with a number of local financial planning firms to educate financial advisors on ways to avoid court involvement and maximize tax savings available to clients through careful structuring of beneficiaries on retirement accounts. Ann volunteers as a presenter for the New Attorney Roundtable through the Silicon Valley Bar Association, with the goal of educating young attorneys entering her field of practice.

Ann is an active member of the State Bar of California, the Silicon Valley Bar Association, and the Academy of Special Needs Planners.

Ann lives with her son and daughter in the Los Gatos Mountains, where they enjoy hiking and gardening.
