Firm Summary
In 2018, my mission was to create a law firm, Griboff Law, LLC, to:
Advise clients and their families on ip matters and how to pay for Aging-In-Place, Downsizing to Independent Living, Assisted Living or Nursing Home by focusing on what is best for the client;
Design customized Wills, Trusts, Health Care Powers of Attorney, and Financial Powers of Attorney to reflect my clients’ wishes; and
Seek guardianship in Court when health care and financial decisions need to be made but there are no legal documents nominating someone.
After handling the extensive probate and guardianship processes for my own family, I felt God wanted me to help other families avoid these legal situations. I went back to school at the age of 30 and received my law degree, cum laude, from The Washington College of Law at American University in the District of Columbia. I have been a practicing attorney for over 20 years. In 2018, I received my Veterans Affairs accreditation, so I may assist Veterans and their families with the Aid and Attendance application. Recently, I received my Master in Laws (LL.M.) in Elder Law from Stetson University in Florida.
I am licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. I am a proud member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. I am also a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland and DC Bar Associations, and Montgomery County Bar Association. I have been a proud sponsor of several local charities.
I offer frequent educational seminars on a variety of IP and Elder Law topics to both the general public and private groups such as, Montgomery Hospice, Caring Matters, GROWS, Women Business Owners of Montgomery County, Washington Metro Oasis, and NARFE in Maryland.
