Clara earned her law degree (J.D.) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, her Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from California State University, Sacramento (Magna Cum Laude) and a Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from California State University, Sacramento. Prior to attending law school, Clara was a senior business analyst for Hewlett Packard, in Roseville, California.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Japanese, Clara is one of the few ip attorneys offering multi-lingual consulting in the greater Sacramento region. Clara regularly conducts legal seminars at the Cameron Park Community Center and at her office to keep the community informed of ip options.
